Did you miss me???

Another broken promise? I certainly hope not.

I know that it's been almost one year since I last posted. I don't want to break another promise to myself, especially to all of you, my dear friends... But it has been a real roller coaster ride for me since 2015 when I first realized that I am ready to change my career direction and get back into what I am genuinely and naturally passionate about 100%.

A lot has happened since then, including going through additional schooling and training for me to be most up-to-date and gain more confidence and expertise, making new professional affiliations, networked and taking advantage of learning from other pros in the field and hearing out their experiences and precious tips. Also, I have revamped my site and am thankful for having super fab creative friends helping me with the process. J.L., I am so grateful for all your help with my photos and logo! My site still needs more work, but the good news is I am making progress.

My dear friends, it was not an easy ride. It has brought me to many questions because making a change requires a lot of determination, motivation, courage, patience, perseverance and humility. And, of course, money, prayers, discipline and support from family and real friends.

I took this moment to write this post before finishing up my final presentation for school because I needed to let you all know that I just didn't stop there from my last year's post and left you all hanging. Thankfully, the school will finally be over in the fall, something to look forward to and celebrate. YAY for that!

I am old-fashioned and find it helpful to note any ideas or inspirations in my little journal and Google Docs - who knows, and if I continue to do so, it could lead me to blog consistently.

I find blogging an excellent way to share ideas and thoughts on anything I do relating to fashion and beauty. It's such a good feeling that I can make a difference and help in any way, no matter how little or straightforward it is.
